The Hudson Valley Renegades minor league baseball team is mired in a terrible slum. Heading into a May 22 game, Hudson Valley lost seven of eight. That included a 5-0 loss to the Brooklyn Cyclones on May 21, the first time all season the Renegades have been shut out. The only respite was a 7-3 victory over the Cyclones on May 19.
