This year, Kent Public Library brought its holiday kick-off celebration indoors. Patrons sipped hot cocoa, nibbled on cookies, and soaked in the spirit of the season, while Santa and a reindeer greeted children. The Carmel High School chorus and band filled the building with the sound of the season, the program room hosted a festive craft, and the genealogy room was transformed into a station to write letters to Santa.
