‘Brewster Busy Bees’ Claim Spelling Contest Championship

Friendly competition filled the air as teams out-spelled each other during CoveCare Center’s annual Adult Spelling Bee on May 14 at Centennial Golf Course in Carmel. This year’s champions were Brewster Rotary and Brewster Chamber of Commerce’s team, “The Brewster Busy Bees.” Second place went to Nuvance Health’s “Nu-Bees.”
Most Enthusiastic Team was awarded to “The Honey Makers,” made up of CoveCare mental health counseling staff.
The event is a fundraiser for CoveCare Center’s many free programs and services that support people with mental health and substance abuse challenges in Putnam County.
