Primary Early Voting

Early voting by mail and absentee ballots may be obtained from the Putnam County Board of Elections, 25 Old Route 6, Carmel, during normal business hours, as well as 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, June 13 and 20; and until 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 18.

Putnam County will also be participating in in-person early voting for the primary election, with two voting sites: The BOE offices; and American Legion Post 275, 10 Cedar St, Cold Spring.

Registered voters who are eligible to vote in the primary may cast their ballots between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13 through Monday, June 15; from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 17; from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18; and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21.

There is no early voting Monday, June 22.

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 23, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

If you cast a ballot during early voting, you are then not eligible to vote on Primary Day. The results from early voting will be reported after 9 p.m., June 23.
